I am passionate about my profession. I have a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma City University. My Bachelors Degree is in Psychology from University of Central Oklahoma. 

My experience has included working with people from young children to adults in their 70s. I provide counseling for individuals, families, couples and groups. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oklahoma. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and Oklahoma Counseling Association. I volunteer as a member of the Board of Directors for Edmond Family Counseling – a nonprofit local counseling agency.

I have been in general private practice for over six years. I had extensive experience working with adolescents through providing therapy for students in all five middle schools in the Edmond area for five years. I also have previous experience with foster children. I worked for a period of time teaching parents skills to provide a safe and nurturing home through the Child Welfare Department.

I provide immediate help by phone to parents through the Parents Helping Parents website. They offer support to parents who are dealing with a son or daughter abusing alcohol or drugs, or just out-of-control behavior. 

My practice has had an increase in the past two years in marital counseling, and I hope to expand those services through time. I believe that the relationship between married partners provide the foundation of a family. 

I have lived in the Edmond / Oklahoma City area for 34 years. I make my home in Edmond with my husband, Greg. We have been married for over 34 years. I have two grown sons, Austin and Ben. I worship at New Covenant United Methodist Church, where I serve as a Stephen Ministry Leader. I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends, and I’m trying to learn how to enjoy exercising!
